AsteRisk, LLC Achieves ISO/IEC 17043:2023 Accreditation as Proficiency Testing Provider

FLOWER MOUND, TX — AsteRisk, LLC is pleased to announce that it has received accreditation from Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc. (PJLA) as a Proficiency Testing Provider (PTP) in conformance with ISO/IEC 17043:2023. The accreditation, effective May 28, 2026, recognizes AsteRisk's technical competence to design, administer, and report proficiency testing programs for gas concentration measurements in cylinders.
ISO/IEC 17043:2023 is the internationally recognized standard for proficiency testing providers. Accreditation under this standard provides customers with independent, third-party confirmation that AsteRisk's PT programs are designed and operated in accordance with rigorous technical and quality requirements.
AsteRisk's accredited scope covers proficiency testing schemes for gas concentration in cylinders, utilizing certified reference materials, results from expert laboratories, and consensus value methodologies for assigned value determination. The scope applies to activities performed at AsteRisk's fixed facility in Flower Mound, Texas, as well as onsite at customer locations.

The accreditation was issued by PJLA, headquartered in Troy, Michigan, and is maintained through ongoing assessments on a continuous accreditation cycle. The certificate is valid through September 30, 2028. Certificate validity can be confirmed at www.pjlabs.com.
